Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain vendor records and communicate effectively with suppliers.
- Prepare and process payments in a timely manner, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and generate financial reports as needed.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) is a plus.
