Responsibility
- Manage full-cycle accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and manage retail sales audit processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to Philippine tax regulations (BIR compliance, VAT, withholding taxes, and local business permits).
- Coordinate with retail department heads to monitor inventory costs and operational expenditures.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports for executive decision-making.
- Participate in internal audits and implement financial controls to optimize retail operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field; CPA license is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the retail or consultancy sectors.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and current tax laws.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate complex financial data effectively.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
