Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of daily, monthly, and quarterly fund accounting reports in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Support the calculation of Net Asset Values (NAV) for assigned fund portfolios.
- Reconcile cash, securities, and expense transactions with custodian and broker statements.
- Process capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies and exceptions in financial data.
- Maintain organized documentation and audit trails for all fund-related activities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and investor reports.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in fund accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Basic understanding of fund accounting principles, GAAP, or IFRS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or experience in accounting, auditing, or financial services is a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Investran, Advent Geneva) is advantageous.
