Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure alignment on functional requirements and user stories.
- Perform regression testing to verify that software updates do not introduce new issues.
- Conduct functional, integration, and system testing to ensure software meets specified requirements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Functional Test Analyst or similar role in software testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
