Responsibility
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Take and process orders accurately using our point-of-sale system, including customizing meals to customer preferences.
- Prepare and assemble food items, including burritos, tacos, and bowls, following GYG's high standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in managing cash transactions, handling payments, and providing correct change to customers.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for food and a willingness to learn about our menu and ingredients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
