Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the front office team, including receptionists, concierge, and bell staff, to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee guest check-in/check-out processes, resolving any issues promptly to maintain a seamless experience.
- Monitor room availability, manage reservations, and coordinate with housekeeping to optimize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front office staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and exceptional service.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with diplomacy, ensuring resolutions that exceed expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, transactions, and operational reports using property management systems (PMS).
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, F&B, maintenance) to address guest needs and enhance overall service quality.
- Uphold brand standards and implement company policies to ensure consistency in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a guest-centric mindset with a focus on service recovery.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of local tourism trends and Bali’s hospitality landscape is an advantage.
