Responsibility
- Inspect and grade fresh fruit bunches (FFB) according to established quality standards.
- Record and document grading results accurately for traceability and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations for FFB quality control.
- Collaborate with mill operators to maintain smooth and efficient production processes.
- Identify and report any defects or irregularities in the FFB to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Assist in training new graders and providing guidance on quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance grading efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in agriculture or quality control is a plus.
- Previous experience in palm oil milling, agriculture, or quality inspection is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
- Physical ability to handle and inspect FFB for extended periods.
