Responsibility
- Assist customers with product selection, providing expert advice on meat, fish, and produce quality and preparation.
- Maintain freshness and presentation standards for all perishable goods, including stock rotation and display arrangements.
- Process and package meat, fish, and produce according to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure consistent stock availability.
- Handle cash transactions, operate POS systems, and provide accurate receipts to customers.
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the fresh food section, including workstations and storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, seasonal offerings, and promotional activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, preferably in fresh food, meat, fish, or produce departments.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, handling, and storage procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Attention to detail in product quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience with POS systems and inventory management is a plus.
