Responsibility
- Design and deliver engaging French language lessons tailored to studentsā proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced.
- Develop and implement interactive teaching methods, including conversational practice, grammar exercises, and cultural immersion activities.
- Assess studentsā progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their learning goals.
- Create and adapt teaching materials, such as worksheets, audio-visual aids, and real-life scenarios, to enhance the learning experience.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence in speaking French.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to organize language workshops, cultural events, or extracurricular activities.
- Stay updated with the latest language teaching methodologies and incorporate best practices into your lessons.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and student performance for reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience (minimum 1-2 years) in teaching French as a second language, preferably in a multicultural or international setting.
- Strong understanding of French grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching, with a student-centered approach to language instruction.
- Familiarity with language teaching frameworks (e.g., CEFR) and the ability to design lessons aligned with these standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds and ages.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Certification in TEFL, TESOL, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
