Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies and optimize routes.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts with carriers to secure cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with international and local shipping laws, including safety and environmental standards.
- Manage inventory levels and warehouse coordination to prevent delays or overstocking.
- Generate reports on freight performance, costs, and efficiency for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of incoterms, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Bali’s logistics infrastructure and regional trade routes is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
