Responsibility
- Develop conceptual design ideas for hospitality and commercial spaces, aligning with the brand’s vision and functional requirements.
- Create detailed floor plans, mood boards, and 3D renderings to present design proposals to stakeholders.
- Select and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that meet aesthetic, durability, and budget criteria.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of interior design with structural and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address design challenges, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Incorporate sustainable and locally sourced materials where possible to align with Bali’s eco-conscious ethos.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging materials, and innovative design technologies to bring fresh ideas to each project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in interior design, with a focus on hospitality, commercial, or large-scale residential projects.
- A strong portfolio showcasing completed projects, including concept development, space planning, and execution.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent knowledge of materials, color theory, lighting, and spatial arrangements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts to clients and teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a freelance capacity, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with local Bali design trends, cultural influences, and sustainable practices is a plus.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
