Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations, including air, sea, and land shipments.
- Liaise with customs brokers, shipping lines, and airlines to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations).
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts with carriers to optimize cost efficiency for clients.
- Track and monitor shipment statuses, providing real-time updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve logistical challenges (e.g., delays, documentation errors) proactively to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and shipment details in our logistics management system.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a similar role (fresh graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply).
- In-depth knowledge of incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, FreightOS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with Bali’s logistics hubs (e.g., ports, airports) is advantageous.
