Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts before and after each shift to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved, including quantities, locations, and any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on forklifts, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as local and national regulations related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks with precision and care.
- Excellent physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
