Responsibility
- Perform high-quality repairs on luxury and designer footwear, including sole replacements, heel repairs, and stitching.
- Assess the condition of shoes and provide accurate cost estimates for repairs or restorations.
- Work with a variety of materials, including leather, suede, and exotic skins, ensuring proper care and treatment.
- Customize footwear based on client requests, such as dyeing, embellishments, or structural adjustments.
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with retail partners and designers to understand product specifications and repair requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in footwear design and repair techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shoe Technician, Cobbler, or Footwear Repair Specialist (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of footwear construction, materials, and repair methods.
- Ability to handle delicate and high-end materials with precision.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with specialized tools and machinery used in shoe repair.
- Basic understanding of fashion trends and luxury brand standards.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.
