Responsibility
- Assist in the development and testing of new Japanese food products, ensuring alignment with brand standards and consumer preferences.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and laboratory analyses to assess product quality, texture, and flavor profiles.
- Support the implementation of food safety protocols (HACCP, GMP) and maintain compliance with local and international regulations.
- Collaborate with chefs and production teams to refine recipes, improve shelf life, and enhance nutritional value.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished products, ensuring adherence to storage and handling guidelines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for menu innovation and seasonal product launches.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and proposing cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or related program.
- Basic understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing techniques.
- Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and ingredients is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
