Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate daily food service operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.
- Manage, train, and mentor kitchen and service staff to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to plan menus, source ingredients, and ensure consistent food quality.
- Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Resolve operational challenges and guest concerns promptly, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (3+ years) in food service coordination, kitchen management, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and local health regulations.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
