Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets Chikuyotei’s high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table settings and service stations.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, such as restocking supplies and preparing the restaurant for service.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints diplomatically and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a food & beverage service role (preferably in fine dining or Japanese restaurants).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional Japanese language skills are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
