Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism and courtesy.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly, adhering to luxury service standards and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, anticipating requests and providing attentive service.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area, including setting tables, replenishing supplies, and clearing used items.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with diplomacy and a solution-oriented approach.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine-dining restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings, service etiquette, and POS systems.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry trays or supplies as needed.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (or willingness to obtain one).
