Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders and offering personalized recommendations based on preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including restocking supplies, polishing glassware, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor guest consumption and intervene responsibly when necessary to promote safe alcohol service.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless coordination for food and beverage pairings and special events.
- Stay updated on the latest mixology trends, seasonal ingredients, and industry best practices to enhance the bar’s offerings.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage the POS system efficiently.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- In-depth knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and beer, with a passion for mixology and beverage innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hotel’s operational needs.
