Responsibility
- Supervise daily operations of fitness facilities across multiple luxury resort locations in Bali
- Develop and implement innovative fitness programs and classes that align with Mandarin Oriental's wellness philosophy
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of fitness instructors and personal trainers to ensure exceptional service delivery
- Monitor and maintain fitness equipment, ensuring all facilities meet the highest safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with the Spa & Wellness Director to create integrated wellness experiences for guests
- Conduct regular fitness assessments and provide personalized recommendations to guests
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in fitness facilities
- Manage inventory of fitness supplies and coordinate with procurement for equipment maintenance and upgrades
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fitness supervision or management, preferably in luxury hospitality or high-end wellness centers
- Certification from a recognized fitness organization (ACE, NASM, ACSM, or equivalent)
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing fitness teams
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of fitness trends, equipment, and safety protocols
- Experience developing and implementing fitness programs for diverse clientele
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, or related field is advantageous
