Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive fire safety policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with local and international standards.
- Lead and manage a team of safety officers, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate and oversee fire drills, emergency response exercises, and evacuation procedures to ensure preparedness.
- Liaise with local fire departments, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with safety regulations.
- Investigate fire incidents, near-misses, and safety violations, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of fire safety equipment, inspections, training, and incidents for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on emerging fire safety technologies, best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously improve safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CFPS, NEBOSH) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire safety management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes, standards (NFPA, OSHA, local regulations), and emergency response protocols.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and deliver fire safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in using fire safety management software and tools for reporting and analysis.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
