Responsibility
- Lead the design and specification of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems for diverse building projects.
- Develop tender documents, including BOQs, technical specifications, and drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM.
- Conduct feasibility studies and energy modeling to optimize system performance and sustainability.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation from concept to handover.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly.
- Ensure compliance with local codes (e.g., SNI, IBC) and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA).
- Oversee site inspections and commissioning to verify system functionality and client satisfaction.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PE/Chartered Engineer certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building services design, with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM software (Navisworks, ETAP, or HAP experience is advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, VRF, and sustainable design principles (LEED/Green Mark).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Indonesian language proficiency is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and tropical climate design considerations.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (work permit sponsorship available for qualified candidates).
