Responsibility
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify requirements and potential risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to refine estimating techniques and improve accuracy.
- Present estimates to clients and stakeholders, explaining assumptions and methodologies.
- Monitor project costs and compare actual expenses with estimates to identify discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation processes.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations is a plus.
