Responsibility
- Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for fire protection systems, including sprinkler layouts, fire alarm systems, and emergency exit plans.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure compliance with local and international fire safety codes (e.g., NFPA, SNI).
- Review and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and project requirements to create accurate schematics.
- Perform calculations for hydraulic systems, pipe sizing, and pressure requirements to optimize fire suppression designs.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems with other building services.
- Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and validate design assumptions.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including as-built drawings, revisions, and compliance reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in fire protection engineering.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection drafting or a similar role, with proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
- Strong understanding of fire safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, SNI, or equivalent).
- Experience with hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and system design for fire suppression.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy in designs.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for collaboration with international teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
