Responsibility
- Provide attentive, personalized service to guests in a fine dining setting, ensuring all needs are anticipated and met.
- Present menus, explain dishes, and make recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Take and relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar, ensuring timely and precise delivery.
- Serve food and beverages with proper etiquette, including wine service, table setting, and clearing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing dining area, adhering to luxury service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborate with the culinary and sommelier teams to enhance the dining experience.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, and special events to maximize revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage pairings, service techniques, and etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the dining schedule.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations.
- Basic understanding of POS systems and order management software is a plus.
