Responsibility
- Manage daily banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown of events.
- Supervise and coordinate with waitstaff to ensure efficient and professional service.
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their seats, and provide attentive table service.
- Take and relay orders accurately, ensuring dietary preferences and special requests are met.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation for dining areas and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and event teams to ensure timely and seamless service delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Assist in training new staff and maintaining service excellence across all events.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fine dining, banquet, or high-end hospitality service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order management tools is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., trays, equipment).
- Previous experience in luxury resorts, hotels, or event venues is highly desirable.
