Obor Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance & Tax Staff to join our growing finance team in Jakarta Timur. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our financial health by ensuring accurate tax compliance, streamlined invoicing processes, and efficient cash flow management.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh & PPN), and excels at managing accounts receivable and payable with precision. You will work closely with our finance department to ensure all financial reporting is timely and compliant with internal policies and government standards.

Responsibility
- Handle end-to-end tax processes, including the calculation and reporting of PPh (21, 23, 25) and PPN.
- Manage e-Faktur and e-SPT systems to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
- Process incoming and outgoing invoices with high attention to detail.
- Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure financial records are balanced.
- Maintain effective management of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Oversee petty cash transactions and documentation.
- Proactively conduct follow-ups on outstanding payments to optimize cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in finance or tax administration.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in e-Faktur, e-SPT, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Accurate, or Xero).
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict tax deadlines.
