Responsibility
- Monitor and anticipate financial risks, including budget overspends, increased costs, and lost invoices.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Conduct regular financial audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Collaborate with the Head of Base to provide financial reports and recommendations.
- Manage financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Provide financial training and support to staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and reporting.
- Experience with financial software and tools.
