Responsibility
- Perform daily payment processing and ensure accurate, timely transactions in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for multiple accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies with meticulous attention to detail.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve process efficiencies.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Monitor cash flow activities and assist in liquidity management to optimize financial resources.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions and reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance operations, reconciliation, or accounting roles within a financial institution or corporate environment.
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS standards and financial reporting principles.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with month-end close processes and financial controls is highly desirable.
