Accion Labs is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team in Bali, Indonesia (remote work from Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or surrounding areas).
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SQL, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and financial analysis to drive data-driven decision-making. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize telco operations, enhance customer experiences, and uncover growth opportunities through advanced analytics.

Responsibility
- Develop and maintain financial and operational dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track KPIs and performance metrics in the telco sector.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in telco data (e.g., customer behavior, revenue streams, network performance) and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance teams to automate reporting, forecast budgets, and improve cost-efficiency.
- Design and implement data models to support scalable analytics for telco-specific use cases (e.g., churn prediction, pricing strategies).
- Monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring accuracy in financial and operational reports.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, such as market expansion or product launches.
- Stay updated on industry trends in telecom analytics and recommend innovative data solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Finance Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, subqueries) and experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Hands-on experience with financial modeling, budgeting, or cost analysis.
- Familiarity with telco-specific metrics (e.g., ARPU, churn rate, network utilization) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into business recommendations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a focus on deliverables and deadlines.
