Responsibility
- Strategic Financial Partnership: Collaborate with retail and F&B leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on financial performance (P&L, KPIs, variance analysis) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning for assigned business units.
- Commercial Insights: Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing, promotions, inventory, and cost structures.
- Stakeholder Influence: Present financial insights to non-finance teams, ensuring alignment between operations and financial goals.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial reporting, automation, and control frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Risk Management: Assess financial risks (market, operational, compliance) and propose mitigation strategies.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with supply chain, marketing, and operations to drive profitability and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA/CPA/CMA is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in finance business partnering, FP&A, or commercial finance, preferably in retail, F&B, or luxury goods.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle). Power BI/Tableau is advantageous.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills to engage non-finance stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with retail/F&B metrics (GMROI, food cost %, foot traffic, etc.).
- Language: Fluent English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
