Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records and transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to analyze budget variances and prepare financial reports for management review.
- Assist in tax compliance activities, including VAT/GST filings and documentation for audits.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to expand knowledge of finance best practices and company policies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, international work environment.
- Prior internship or part-time experience in finance/accounting is advantageous but not required.
