Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Manage tax planning, filings, and compliance with Indonesian tax laws, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding taxes.
- Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure seamless audits and tax examinations.
- Supervise, mentor, and train finance team members to enhance performance and professional development.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, Brevet A/B) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and taxation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and accounting principles.
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; familiarity with international financial standards is advantageous.
