In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimization. Your expertise in tax regulations, AP/AR processes, and financial reporting will drive efficiency and support our expansion in Indonesia’s booming beauty market.
Based in Bali’s business hubs (Canggu, Ubud, or Denpasar), you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams while leveraging your bilingual skills (Mandarin & English) to bridge communication with international stakeholders. Responsibility
- Lead and manage all financial accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end/year-end closing, and financial statement preparation.
- Oversee tax compliance (corporate, VAT, withholding taxes) and ensure adherence to Indonesian and international financial regulations.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support business decision-making.
- Optimize Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management for cost control and revenue growth.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions to maintain transparency and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams (e.g., Sales, Supply Chain) to align financial strategies with operational goals.
- Prepare Mandarin-language financial reports for stakeholders in China and other Mandarin-speaking markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance/tax management, preferably in the cosmetics, retail, or FMCG industry.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) and professional English is mandatory.
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, GAAP, and IFRS standards.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with a track record of managing teams.
- Experience working in multinational companies or with international stakeholders is highly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent attention to detail.
