Responsibility
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets under supervision.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and documentation in digital systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline administrative and accounting workflows.
- Assist in payroll processing, expense tracking, and vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare presentations and summaries for management reviews.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to improve financial processes and systems.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or coursework in finance/accounting is a plus.
