Responsibility
- Assist in month-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of Bank Statement Reconciliations (BSR) to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Collaborate with the tax team to compile data for APAC tax returns and compliance reporting.
- Analyze financial transactions and assist in generating monthly financial reports for management review.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist in audit preparations by organizing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Utilize Excel and financial software to process data, create pivot tables, and perform variance analysis.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, and basic macros).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or accounting software is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
