Responsibility
- Conduct on-site risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities in financial operations.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize exposure to financial and operational risks.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk management practices are integrated into daily operations.
- Prepare detailed reports on risk findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging risks and trends in the financial services industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management, auditing, or compliance within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using risk management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or CRM (Certified Risk Manager) are a plus.
