Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on telecommunication towers and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct on-site inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Install, upgrade, and configure tower components, including antennas, transmitters, and power systems, in compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor tower infrastructure health and report anomalies or potential risks to the operations team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute tower maintenance schedules and emergency repairs.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies during all field operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and subcontractors as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in telecom tower maintenance, field operations, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of RF systems, microwave links, and fiber optics is a plus.
- Proficiency in using test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, power meters, PIM testers) and hand tools.
- Physical ability to climb towers (up to 100 meters) and work in outdoor, high-altitude environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to remote sites within Bali.
- Certifications in telecom safety (e.g., OSHA, RF safety) are highly advantageous.
