Responsibility
- Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables in compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on existing fiber optic networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, connectivity issues, and hardware failures in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to plan and execute network expansion projects.
- Document all field activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance, using company-approved tools.
- Conduct site surveys to assess feasibility and requirements for new fiber optic deployments.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding network configurations and troubleshooting.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working in various field conditions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Networking, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fiber optic network installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
- Certification in Fiber Optic Splicing (e.g., FOA CFOT) is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in using OTDR, fusion splicers, power meters, and other fiber optic testing equipment.
- Strong understanding of network topologies, TCP/IP, and OSI model.
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel and work in outdoor/field environments across Bali.
