In this role, you will drive the expansion of our merchant network by identifying, engaging, and onboarding new business partners across key locations such as Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.

Responsibility
- Identify and engage potential merchants in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Badung) to expand Amartha’s network.
- Conduct market research to identify high-potential business segments and merchant opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new merchants, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline merchant integration and activation on the Amartha platform.
- Monitor and report on merchant acquisition performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Represent Amartha at local events, workshops, and networking opportunities to promote our services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting merchant acquisition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in the fintech or financial services sector.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with merchants.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Familiarity with the Bali market and its business landscape is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regions in Bali.
