Responsibility
- Develop and implement effective collections strategies to minimize delinquencies and recover outstanding debts.
- Conduct field visits to clients to negotiate payment plans and resolve overdue accounts.
- Monitor and analyze collection performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on collection policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
- Provide regular reports on collection activities, progress, and challenges to management.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to facilitate smoother debt recovery processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections, debt recovery, or a similar role in the financial services industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed collection targets.
- Familiarity with collection software and tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
