San Miguel Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Fault Management Lead to join our infrastructure division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day compliance, safety, and operational performance of the MRT7 system. As we continue to expand and modernize the transit landscape in the Philippines, your leadership will be instrumental in minimizing service disruptions, optimizing maintenance workflows, and ensuring that our rail infrastructure operates at peak efficiency.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team to diagnose, document, and resolve technical faults, ensuring that all activities adhere to strict industry safety standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a background in rail or heavy infrastructure, capable of managing high-pressure situations while maintaining a focus on long-term systemic reliability.
Responsibility
- Lead the real-time monitoring and diagnosis of technical faults within the MRT7 system.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure swift resolution of infrastructure and equipment failures.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fault reporting and escalation.
- Analyze operational performance data to identify trends and proactively address recurring technical bottlenecks.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international rail safety and operational regulations.
- Manage incident response workflows during service interruptions to minimize passenger impact.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly performance reports for senior management stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Civil) or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fault management, system maintenance, or operations within a large-scale transport or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of railway signaling, power distribution, or rolling stock systems.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA) techniques and incident management software.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional technical teams.
- Proven ability to interpret complex technical manuals and regulatory compliance documents.
- Strong communication skills, capable of coordinating across multiple departments under pressure.
