Responsibility
- Develop and create innovative fashion designs that align with current trends and brand identity.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards.
- Create detailed technical sketches and specifications for production.
- Source and select fabrics, trims, and materials for each design.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and consumer preferences.
- Present design concepts and collections to stakeholders and clients.
- Oversee the sampling and prototyping process to ensure design accuracy.
- Maintain and update design records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in the fashion design industry.
- Proficient in pattern making and garment construction.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, materials, and production techniques.
- Excellent sketching and illustration skills, both by hand and using design software.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
