Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for factory employees, focusing on technical skills, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for new hires and existing staff to ensure proficiency in manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify training needs and develop customized learning solutions to address skill gaps.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure all training materials and sessions comply with Daikin’s global safety standards, local regulations, and industry best practices.
- Mentor and coach employees to foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and professional development.
- Maintain accurate training records, documentation, and reports to track progress and demonstrate the impact of training initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in HVAC manufacturing, training methodologies, and industry trends to enhance program quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a training or instructional role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical background in HVAC systems, manufacturing processes, or mechanical assembly, with hands-on experience in a factory setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs, including the development of training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and training management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, motivate teams, and drive a culture of learning and development.
