Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee utility systems (water, electricity, gas) to ensure efficient operation and cost-effective usage.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, renovations, or system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific regulations related to facility safety and operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in facility management, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and utility management.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct maintenance staff.
- Proficient in using facility management software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Relevant certification in facility management, HVAC, or electrical systems is a plus.
