Responsibility
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospitalâs facility department, ensuring all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are functioning optimally.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of hospital equipment and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international healthcare facility regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, JCI, or equivalent).
- Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and procurement of facility-related supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate with hospital leadership to align facility operations with patient care and operational goals.
- Lead emergency preparedness and response plans, including disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Monitor and control facility budgets, including cost analysis, forecasting, and expense management.
- Supervise a team of facility staff, including technicians, maintenance personnel, and contractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, with at least 3 years in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare facility regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems in a large facility.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to facility maintenance and upgrades.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting related to facility operations.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
