Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in factories, warehouses, production areas, and office facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of electrical equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems to identify potential issues, risks, or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, operations, and safety teams to ensure electrical systems meet operational requirements and comply with local regulations and industry standards.
- Manage emergency repairs and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to restore functionality quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventories using digital management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, electrical codes, and company policies to create a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, motors, generators, and control panels.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry best practices (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues under pressure.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
