Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in building systems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility maintenance and safety.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and implement corrective actions.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability of necessary resources.
- Collaborate with facility management to develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Facility Maintenance Specialist or similar role, preferably in a healthcare or diagnostic center.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Certification in facility management or maintenance is a plus.
