Responsibility
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to drive team success.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to align engineering controls with business objectives and sustainability goals.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement processes for equipment and facility-related services.
- Prepare and present reports on facility performance, budget adherence, and project progress to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, equipment maintenance, or industrial engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, power distribution, and automation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards) and best practices in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other relevant software tools.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
