Responsibility
- Process all guest transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Verify payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments) and issue receipts with precision.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer, reconcile daily transactions, and report discrepancies promptly.
- Provide friendly, professional, and timely service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with F&B staff to ensure smooth order-to-payment workflows.
- Adhere to company policies, hygiene standards, and financial compliance regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or billing concerns with diplomacy and problem-solving skills.
- Assist in opening/closing procedures, including cashier station setup and end-of-day reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or cashier experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak hours.
- Basic computer literacy (POS systems, Excel) and quick learning ability for new tools.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and a proactive attitude.
- Prior experience in hotels, restaurants, or retail is highly preferred.
